  * second movement (Boogie) uses first finger and open strings with piano accompaniment
   * third movement (up and Down Stairs) uses 2 fingers and open strings.

Students enjoy playing this work and have a huge sound that really surprises parents when used on concert with piano accompaniment.  It is a great first piece where students learn to play in multiple parts and reinforces good bow useage.
